    What are the Mercury 15HP outboards like?

    It'll be going on a 10' Fyran like the one in the picture below. I can't find this boat on the manufacturer's website and there's nothing on/near the transom stating the maximum engine size. It may be a little overpowered with a 15HP, but that's not illegal in NZ.
