    fuel-water separator filter

    I just repowered my 91 Chris Craft Crowne with a 2003 Mercruiser 496 HO Mag, and use only supreme gas. Do I need to use/install a fuel water separating filter? I have been told with this engine, I can use regular gas, any truths to this?

    Has anyone installed a solar vents and how well did they work? Want to add some ventilation into the cuddy without getting the cuddy wet. Thanks

    Trouble with shifter

    Hi, new to site and new to boating. Have an older Chris Craft with an OMC 351 Cobra engine. Just had a lot of work done on the lower unit including replacing the shifter cable assembly. Just launched the boat and the shifter is really hard to move from neutral to either forward or reverse...
