    86 DT 75 Beeping even after shut off (overheating? oil pressure?)

    My first boat just bought it has a 1986 DT 75 third time taking it out gets to beepin by the throttle the oil is full it is spitting out water in all the right places .. oil cap is broken does that effect oil pressure? is the beeping a warning for?
