    80 hp blue band no power above 200rpm switch box?

    hi, i have an 80hp blue band, stator recently shat itself (low speed winding) since replaceing the stator the engine starts and idles fine and seems to be fine on the muffs, put it in the water and will not rev over around 2000 rpm. could this be a switch box issue? seems like its not kicking...
