    1974 15hp wont start

    "I recently bought a boat with "I recently bought a boat with a 15 hp evinrude. Fixed the spark problem, gas is going to carb, and has compression. But still cant get it to start. Any suggestions?"

    No spark in cylinder #1

    "I just bought a 1974 15hp evi "I just bought a 1974 15hp evinrude model 15404s. I don't have any spark in clyinder #1, so I replaced the points, condenser and coil and still nothing, I checked the grounds also. Any suggestions?"
