    Mercruiser 3.0 stalls when accelerating

    Boat wasnt running until I rebuilt the carb. Now that it turns on and can idle just fine and even get into first gear in the water I am now facing the problem of the boat stalling when I try accelerating past first. Advice please to why this is happening and what I can do to try to fix thank you.

    Mercruiser 3.0L dies seconds after starting

    The engine starts for a few seconds then dies unless you throttle it by hand at the engine. We took the carb out and gave it a good clean but the problem still persists. What are other options? We are gonna remove the fuel tomorrow and trying replacing it but I have a feeling that wont do it...
