    tack help

    what part of a 40hp 4 stroke Yamaha motor runs the tack? stator,trigger power pak or what? The wires go to the engine and plug in but I don't know where they run to from there. Tack went crazy and not reading right and then the motor started missing out. any help would keep me from getting out...

    tack and motor missing out

    my 2004 40hp 4 stroke Yamaha was running good until the tach started messing up and reading wrong, then the motor started missing out. any help would be great on what is wrong. thanks.
