    1992 115 yamaha starting issue

    My starter seems to kick out when the motor starts to fire. Even after it fires it quickly kicks out when the motor is trying to start. Like when the compression begins. Had the starter checked and is supposedly ok. Is this a solenoid issue? If so, where is he solenoid located. thanks
