    Johnson 4 Seahorse abrupt stop, overheated?

    The engine wasn't operated for 2 years. It started well, with correct fuel/oil mix, ran at full speed for 10 minutes, suddenly stopped. Strong paint smell. Couldn't turn over to restart. Waited 4 hours, able to pull starter cord, prop turns ok, won't start. Grateful for any advice.
