    87 mercruiser 120 alpha 1 major issues

    boat ran like a top for first 5 or six trips, last time out when i left the dock it was clunking hard so i turned around and docked it. when i went to put it into gear to go to the ramp it wouldnt engage. i got it out of the water and put the muffs on it. engine purrs but cannot get it to go...
