    Need 65 Merc 1000 wiring harness

    I am in need of a 1965 Merc 1000 outboards wiring plug its an elbow plug that plugs into the side of the motor 6 pin I think mine needs all new wiring. I thought I could just run all the new wire but cant do it without destroying the plug. Thanks

    Novice need help

    Ok Went and bought a 1969 Stevens V-haul and it has a Merc 1000 on it I see the fill tank for the fuel in the rear of the boat but there is no fuel tank what is needed here to get me in business cuz im confused a bit with fuel pumps needed on some but not others sending units etc please help.     Lost Wheel Bearings
