    the codes on the engine are t9.9lhb and 6g8 1 100088 9 or 4 cant make out the last number could anyone help? cuz my impeller is shot and I need to find out how to replace it thanks.

    Ok another 79 470 question the stock starter has no solenoid on it but the new replacements have one and the book shows the orange wire going from solenoid to solenoid but my boat has the orange wire going to the circuit breaker then out the other side then spliced into a red power wire is it ok...

    so let me start off with i have the book for my 470 and it looks like it was written in the late 80s and the wiring diagrams are sub-par at best . its an old seloc without the "seloc" logo on the left front of the book. any where i could find better diagrams? and the colors seem to be off on my...
