    Tiller steering is stuck on 1968 Chrysler 9.9 HP

    Any ideas on how to remove a stuck tiller? I unscrewed everything but it still won't move to either side. All joints have been soaked with penetrating solvent (P B'laster). I do have a 3-pound hammer, but perhaps there's a more subtle "trick" to it? Thank you, Ted

    Serial number "missing"

    I have acquired a Chrysler 9.9, which I plan to rehab. The previous owner thinks it's a mid-1970s vintage, but I am unable to locate the MSO plate/stamping to verify anything. I have looked all over the transom clamp and can't find it. Can anyone tell me where it might be hiding? Thank you!
