    marine power 5.7 overheat buzzer

    I have a 2004 5.7 efi. It runs around 150* at idle and 160-165 at running speed. I had it out the other day and the alarm buzzer for the temp would not turn off, even though the gauge was reading 150*. Does the temp buzzer read from the same sensor as the temp gauge? I am hoping it is nothing...
