    1958 35 hp Drive Shaft Interchangeable with 1965 Evinrude 40 hp?

    Does anyone know if you can swap out a drive shaft from a 1958 35 hp Evinrude to a 1965 40 hp Evinrude? Also, would any of these drive shafts come in a 23" length? I thought they only came in a 32.5" and a 27.5" length. Ron

    Installing Spring in Evinrude 40 Big Twin Recoil Starter
