    I just purchased a 25 ft boat with a 98 yahama saltwater series 225 hp motor Do I need to use water ears to run with fresh water for flushing or is there a place on the engine for a hose to connect directly to the engine?

    oil in # 3 cylinder 1988 50 hp

    When I pull the lower plug (#3)of my 1988 - 50 HP - Yahama I find that the plug is wet with oil after I have run the engine for about 1/2 hour is this because the oil injection system is adjusted to rich? The engine seems to be running very well inspite of the oil on the plug.
