    1994 force lower unit 40 h.p- need help!!!!

    i have a 94 force 40 h.p outboard. the other day i was boating and when i re-started the motor and put it in gear the boat would not go foreward or reverse????!!!!!. the motor revs up but nothing. how do i check to see if my lower unit is shot???. are there any tests i can manually do to check...
