    Thinking of trying synthetic oil Anyone made the switch

    I have a 2000 Merc 250 EFI Sal I have a 2000 Merc 250 EFI Saltwater Series. I have been using Merc Prem Plus. We do a lot of trolling. My thinking is the synthetic's may burn cleaner with less carbon build up. Maybe less smoke and slower rpm's. Anyone had any experince? Tx
