    96 5.8L GT40. Time to cange t 96 5.8L GT40. Time to cange the oil. The label on engine says 40W 40 "SG" rated oil. Seems pretty difficult to find that oil. What else can (should) I use? And how many quarts does this engine take? Recommendations on filters? Thanks in advance.

    I have a 1996 Brendella 5.8L w I have a 1996 Brendella 5.8L with 1:1 tranny. I assume the tranny take dexron II fluid but wondered if anyone knows for sure? Thx for the help.
