    "I have a mercruiser alpha 1 l "I have a mercruiser alpha 1 leg 2001 that sounds as if it has a bad gimble. I know this not to be the case as it is a new gimble bearing. It sounds worse if the drive is trimmed up. I'm wondering if it is a bearing in the drive unit itself, anyone have any ideas?"
