    2004 DF70 Tiller

    Oil light warning came on yest Oil light warning came on yesterday. Oil is at the proper upper level. The oil was changed in May of this year and every previous year. The motor has 223 hours on it. Anybody have any ideas as to what happened?

    "For JUST-IN-TIME: Last fall y "For JUST-IN-TIME: Last fall you suggested a 15 pitch prop in place of the 17. I did replace it today. The rpms are up to 5800 to 6000 depending on how I trim the engine. Also, the porpoising is gone. Thanks for the help."

    Presently has 13 1/4 X 17 alum Presently has 13 1/4 X 17 aluminium prop. The manual says the motor should be reving between 5200 and 5800rpms. The factory tach is registering 5000rpm at wide open throttle. Should I be looking at a different prop to raise the engine rpms? Can I also slow the...
