    Gamefisher lower unit

    Have a '79 15 hp Gamefishe Have a '79 15 hp Gamefisher motor with bad bearings in lower unit. Bought another lower unit but the drive shaft is about three inches too long and the case is badly cracked. Can't figure out how to get the gears out of the lower unit and move it into my good case...

    "Bought a 3.6 vintage Fireston "Bought a 3.6 vintage Firestone outboard motor and it just took some carb cleaner to get it running. Put it on my boat and it started right up. However, it was taking me backward around the lake! It has no shift -- no neutral -- can't even spin it all the way...
