    I saw a prop listed on E-BAY I saw a prop listed on E-BAY it is a " NOS JOHNSON OMC PROP #277595 9"X 8" 10 HP 1956-57 new. Can somebody tell me if this would fit my 1951 QD 12 10HP mine is a little chewed up.

    Ignition mudule conversion for old johnson

    I have a 1951 Johnson 10 hp. I have a 1951 Johnson 10 hp. mod.QD12. A friend suggested I buy an electric ignition module to put on and replace the coils and points. Is this available for my motor and is it hard and or feasable to do.
