    1963 318 compatibility to newer engines

    I have a blown '63 318. I I have a blown '63 318. I am haveing the worst time trying to find a 1963 engine. I have found plenty of 1967 or newer. Will the newer engine mount up to my velvet drive tranny and bell-housing? I am hearing yes and no's - is there anyone that knows the correct answer?
