    I put new sender on 20psi at start up drops down to 8/10 psi after running I got a new gauge and sender that were supposed to match same thing happened I got another sender from Foley in Ma. That didn't help either I put a snap on test gauge on 38psi at start up and held 30 psi can't figure...

    I got an older 354 165HP pre 1978 I replaced the oil sender pressure still low 20 lbs. I run the boat by the time I get back to dock oil is really low but eng. sounds fine then I got new sensor and gauge same thing Wondering if oil is the right kind I was told to use sae 30 thanks

    Hello out in boat today noticed sea water pump leaking it looks like it coming from bottom where hose comes in there's a plastic ring it looks like it is cracked also is it a big job to replace pump thanks

    thanks for reply looked in eng, compartment found 7 ft, hose from sea cock to trans, cooler crushed in 2 spots replaced then flushed out trans, cooler took cover off the back of innner cooler found a fin that directs water broken off one just about ready to come off removed and took over to shop...

    thanks for replies to check elbow do i just remove plugs on elbow and rev eng. in neutral to check flow and is there anyway to check raw waterpump it looks like it pumping plenty of water i replaced impeller in fall and if i got to check cooler i guess it has to come off eng. to clean thank you...

    had boat for a ride tonight on the way back engine got a high temp. alarm shutdown let it cool for a while ran boat back slow i know there are two thermostats hoping the one for running at higher rpms is bad anyone have any input thank you, goody
