    Driveshaft socket for 8HP Mercury

    Hello. I would like a socket which engages the top of the driveshaft on an 8HP outboard. I found tool 91-804762, but the guy at Mercury says this is for 15 and 18HP models. Does anyone know if this tool will fit an 8HP driveshaft? Is there another socket tool for this job? Thank you, Jim
