    1st post, thank you for your help. Just acquired a 40HP Mariner and in my search for a service manual looking like I need one for a Yamaha but not sure. Tag has 40EL 6E9 L, serial is 423291, with Japan on tag too. When looking for manual every search calls for 7 or 8 digit SN. Can someone link...
