    Yamaha 9.9 long shaft electric start trying to remove the foot

    Wanted to change the impellor on a 2004 Yamaha 9.9. removed the 4 bolts and the nut for the shifter but the foot does not drop and only moves slightly. Sprayed lots of WD 40 in all the holes and used a sledge with wood to try and get it to release. Anyone have any ideas on how to remove the foot...
