    Hi, Is there any other way to discover the year of a Mariner 50hp 4 cylinder 4 stroke, to within a few years. I think it is a 2001, but since I cannot read the numbers, is there any other way to know ? Thank you.

    Hi, Thank you. I don't know the engine ID, there are numbers on the right side of the upper leg but I cant read them sadly, are there any other numbers anywhere else? Do you know the colour of the lead ? Many Thanks.

    Honda BF50A. Engine will die at half throttle.

    Hi, My Honda BF50A 1996, will not go past half throttle and then engine dies, will start up again no bother, starts well from cold, and will rev up when not in gear. New fuel filter, plugs, extra in line filter on tank, new fuel tank. When checking thermostat, none fitted, put in new thermostat...
