    Winterizing Merc 8hp 4 stroke

    I had the motor maintained in September. Only took it out twice. Probably put 30 minutes on it, probably less. Do I need to change the oil? Run the engine dry of gas? It will be kept in a garage for the Winter, will be below freezing in there. Thoughts???

    Just bought a used Mercury 6hp 2 stroke outboard motor...I am a real novice. I got a gas tank, but need a fuel line. What size do I need? I think the motor is a circa 1995. I want to order a fuel line, but need to make sure I get the right size.
