    convert a merc 150 2.5lt to 200 hp??

    I may need addition HP for Mako CC I just bought- Looks like same block and pistons are used on 150 hp and 200 hp model of 2.5lt 2000-2005 Carbs are different WMV-16 on 150 and WHV-18s on 200s- what else needs to be changed? What about reeds? Anything electrical? Exhaust?

    1990 200 hp looper- low compre 1990 200 hp looper- low compression on both bottom cylinders-55-60 psi. Pulled head and there is no cylinder wall damage?? Motor has beem built .30 over. Could the rings be stuck? Pistons clean enough to read part numbers.
