    That doesn’t make any sense. The parts on the stator plate should fit back on nicely and snuggly. Dumb question, are you sure you’ve got the sensor coil on the right way around?     Also: Compression is “ok” at 110/115/115 and spark is jumping a nice big fat gap. Carbs were removed, taken apart and soaked for 48hrs before being sprayed then thoroughly dried with compressed air.

As fazbullet has said, you really should have it in a barrel or in lake as the lean sneeze may vanish altogether with some back pressure.     Thanks guys. yeah, I’m thinking same. I’ve got streaks of black coming down left side of lower cowling which I figured was a leaking exhaust gasket so will probably tackle that AND the lower crank seal for good measure. Do the lower seals go on these bad boys or am I reaching?
