    2001 Mercury 115 not holding prime

    Evidently my sons Mercury 115 ran out or low on oil. It would not start. He filled it up with oil. It started and ran for a few seconds and shut off again. It would not start after that and now no longer holds its prime. He can smell gas but can not tell for sure where it’s coming from. Any...
