    Prop size

    I recently acquired a 1997 130 Johnson and installed it on a Seafox 172cc. It has a 15x15 as prop. At wot it's turning 5600 rams. Speed is about 38mph with 3 batteries, 23 gal of fuel and about 350lbs of humans. Should I look to re-prop or do the rpm,s look appropriate? thanks for your replies.

    No water out tell tale.

    I have a 1997 130 hp johnson. Motor had been setting up for a couple of years. Installed on boat, cleaned carbs, lubed all 4 cylinders, replaced LU oil. Pulled LU and water pump looked new. Impeller still pliable. No sign of wear. Reassembled LU and installed plugs and all linkages. Motor fired...
