    1981 Larson tilt problem

    Need info on tilt system. My tilt shaft broke at the end at the cuppler. I replaced and reinstalled but now it will lower but will now raise. Solenoids ok and hammer-blow is good. where do i position the outdrive when repairing. Full up, full down, or middle of range. how does the motor know...
