    1981 Mariner 115 hp- how troubleshoot stator?

    Got a 1981 Mariner 115hp that misfires when I give throttle. Runs ok at idle and got ignition on all 6 spark plugs when I crank her. Suspecting a bad stator. Can someone please give me some guidelines which resistance I should have on my stator and which wires on the stator that I should test...
