    Evinrude outboard help

    I have an Evinrude outboard that I need help identifying. The title says it is a 1979 120HP. The cowl says it is a 90HP. The ID plate is gone off of it. Everything I see online says Evinrude didn't make a 120 or a 90 HP engine in 1979. Is there anyway to identify the motor without the ID plate?
