    safety horn not sounding

    My 2004 bayliner with 3.L mercruiser ser. # owo28910 that I recently bought doesn't have a safety horn sound when I turn on the ignition. Was this an option that I don't have, or is it unplugged somewhere? All the gauges show normal while its running.

    dried white stuff on sterndrive

    I have some baked on white junk on my sterndrive. I thought it would come off with a power wash, but It didn't. Must be some lake water algae that has been baked on for years. Is there some cleaning chemical that would take it off. It came with my boat. Thanks for any ideas.

    what year is my mercruiser 3.0L

    I just bought a 2004 bayliner as the 2nd owner. Original sales receipt lists mercruiser engine #0W028910. I bought some parts from Crowley that fit, but they say its for a 1998 engine. What year is it. It doesn't matter, just curious.
