    Lowrance Elite Problem

    Guys, Installed my lowrance tonight. Powered up as I was attaching it to the mount. A few minutes later I cannot get it to power up. The fuse in boats panel is fine. Is there something simple with the unit I am not getting?

    Livewell...

    Mystery to me

    I am running an 98 Mercury Force. When I shut the motor off I hear a de-escalating sound as the prop winds down. Lower unit is all tiptop with good oil. Number Two...When my boat is in nuetral it is moving forward as if I was idling forward. Thank you to all the gurus who will respond.

    Figured it out!

    Went to remove carb on my 98 Force in hopes to identify and fix a fuel leakage. Did not take long at all. The hex nut in the bottom of the bowl with the nipple on it was VERY loose. Simple simple simple. Ordered new bowl seal and flushed carb out while it is off.
