    First up try cleaning out the IAC valve located right on top at the back of the motor on the starboard side. It had a gauze screen which gets blocked, use some throttle body cleaner or similar and compressed air to clean it.

    Have you got a workshop manual? If not you can download the factory manual for free, just google Honda BF225 service manual and look for it. That will give you a proper troubleshooting guide. It's very difficult to talk you through it.

    No need for that, normal service plus all internal anodes. You don't do injectors, timing belt only if necessary, check for cracked ribbing. What year is your motor? If younger that 2013 the powerhead needs to come off to replace anodes on the lower water gallery.

    You need a wiring diagram and a voltage drop test, a good auto electrician would fix this easily if you don't have the knowledge to do this.It is definitely low voltage but the problem could be anywhere between the battery and efi power supply.

    What happens when you put the seemingly faulty starter on the other engine? It could be drawing slightly more and you have a voltage drop across the isolator. This is why the fit up manual states the smaller positive wire must be connected to the battery, not the isolator.

    Try pulling one plug lead off at a time, if one cylinder is playing up you will be able to identify it, that should be your starting point
