    3.0L Mercruiser I/O Alpha drive Issue??

    The last time it was out the boat came to a stop on it's own while running across the lake but the engine did not shutoff. The engine started 4-5 more times but would not go into gear. I've been told it could be a water pump that cools the engine that went out but have not taken it to a mechanic...
