    I believe there is one in the oil cooler behind a plug. It's the only one as far as i know but i'm not that familiar with these engine's.

    It’s not fear talk, but had a kad 44 starting fine running 3800rpm no problem. only thing was medium blowby and some soot out the exhaust. Opened up and all the 6 cilinders the second pistonring was in pieces. So good starting is not to say the rings are ok. Good luck hope it is a minor fix...

    Put the pump gear in with the dot at 4, than you rotate the pump axle til the 4 bolts correspond. they are not square and can only fit at one position (red arrow) Lock the flywheel (with tool or drill)and time the pump as discribed. You did hopefully not take all the gears off?? All the dots...

    Oké 6x new injector tip and pressure tested= overhauled injectors. Blowing the pants off. Running 3500 rpm no problem. No more black soot, starting fine!!!!     The only error after start or sometimes after 5-10min run This is what dealer used last time Reading vaults, replaced Some sh.t and stil no solution. He was having FMI 9 !!?? Abracadabra? My guts is telling me it’s someting small but the longer this is kicking the more i’m affraid of big bill...

    oke appointment in 2 weeks. Vodia not giving any log vaults. Also no software update. Dealer says, when nr:21 and 13 ever been open, 99% they stay open because of dirt. No haste so appointment in 2 weeks, also he clean/check injectors. Hope thats the solution, need the boat it's vacation...
