    Need help with 1985 DT 30 Remote control box

    You need to get a push throttle plate and swap it out inside you NA12 control box. Also in a pinch you can modify the pull plate to make it a push plate by moving the arm to the top hole. You also have to spin the "Drum" item #39 in the diagram 180deg to fit the other slot in the throttle plate...
