    25 hp to 30

    So I've got a '97 model 25 hp Evinrude I'd like to bump up a little. I figured a 30 carb and manifold would do it but part numbers show only the manifold has a different number. Carberator 0439377 works from '05 to '93 on 20, 25 and 30. Intake manifold for the 30 is 0396790. Sounds too simple?

    40 hp convert to tiller question

    Looking at a 1990 40hp 6E9-415320 and wonder if the steering bracket is made to accept a tiller handle without swapping out the whole shebang. I haven't seen it yet and the seller is hard to get ahold of.

    40 hp approx age from pic

    Cant seem to get the serial number but here's a pic. My guess is late 80's ? I'd like to turn it into a tiller if its a 2 cylinder.

    i want a nicer trailer

    The galvanized one I have now spent a lot of time time on the coast so rust is holding everything together. I've seen some very nice trailers for $300 but some only have bunks while mine has rollers too. My boat is a light 16 ft aluminum vee hull, dry weight 250-275 lbs. Could a bunk only work ?

    clogged intake screen ?

    Water is not coming out of my 1989 Evinrude 25hp pee hole. Is it possible spray paint clogged something in the intake ? I can see through the screen so I tried to take it off and look around inside but it doesn't want to let go.

Found a Johnson '83 35hp electric remote and a scrap Johnson '82 25 rope start tiller. The bracket for the 25 rope is the same part number, 0326044...
