    1956 30hp big twin prop shaft seal orientation

    Ok so the seal carrier is the skinny one with the two holes you can use a punch to push out the old seal. My question is which way does the seal go into the carrier and then which way does the carrier go onto the prop shaft.

    Sears Clinton made 1968 3hp

    Trying to get the correct settings for the high and low needles. Motor runs but I'm having trouble getting it to idle. And it's shutting down at high speed. Thanx in advance
