    1984 15 Hp Evinrude Steering Bracket / Exhaust housing separation

    I am trying to separate the steering bracket from the exhaust housing in order to get access to all three bolts that hold the pivot shaft in place. The 1/4" bolts that go thru he rubber grommets are acting funny when backed out. One sheared just below head. It appears like it should pull apart...
