    lower seal 1955 evinrude 7.5hp

    can i put the lower seal in by turnin the outboard upside down it looks like the case splits at bottom that holds the prop shaft and gears or atleast turn it horizontal ant helt appreciated

    will a 1/2 pint of carb cleaner in tank hurt engine

    i picked up a little 55 evinrude 7.5 wasnt started in 2 yrs it started on 3rd pull but just spits now and then for the most part it runs nice but i had a old timer tell me he started useing a half pint of stp carb cleaner in a full 6 gal tank of gas and oil will this hurt my motor any by the way...

    1956 7.5 rpm range to shift

    haveing trouble with my 1956 7.5 today it will start in the start position but spits alittle, when i go to lower the rpms in the shift position she dies screwed ss needle in backed out 1 and a half turns and found that sweet spot but still when i get her into the shift position she dies helppp

    old johnson 6 gal tank

    for you guys that cant find a tank 2 line i fig away around it i took a new gas tank drilled a hole in it and cut the small pump on a coleman lantern i had and silver soldiered it and it works great took me about a hour to do and i touched it up with paint works like a charm

    evinrude ran great 7.5+ caught nice fish

    took my little evinrude out today for 1st time, it ran great we took it about 2 miles up river dropped 25 jugs for catfish and went down river about quarter mile and waited, life is good got about 25lbs of channel cat fish fry tonite lol thanks to all that helped

    water leak 1958 seahorse 7.5 hp

    i found out the oil to gas ratio is 24 to 1 but what gear oil do i use in lower section and what type of oil do i mix with gas, i just got this motor and did the fuel pump update and ran it for about 2 seconds just to see if it would run with the fuel pump ,it did
