    Alpha 1 gen 2 loosing fluid 2004 3.0

    I have a 2004 3.0 mercruiser with an Alpha 1 gen2. I have top off the remote lower unit fill after every few days of running the boat .Pulled the outdrive and dont see any obvious leaks. Changed the lower unit fluid and there is no signs of water or damage. Any ideas of where else to look? thanks

    Recently installed the mercath Recently installed the mercathode kit on my 2004 mercruiser 3.0 Alpha1. The directions do not clearly show where the Controller is supposed to mount on the engine. Anyone have any have any pics or info on where it should be installed I would appreciate the help.

    2005 optimax tilttrim help

    Tilt UP works fine when the en Tilt UP works fine when the engine is not under power but when moving it tilts up to a certain point and then stops. At the dock it tilts all the way up with no problem. Any suggestions??

    Optimax lower unit stuck in gear

    2005 optimax 115 with 25" 2005 optimax 115 with 25" shaft. Unit is stuck in gear. Tried moving from engine and shift linkage moves freely and can see shift rod moving above lower unit. Any ideas? Motor is sitting on engine stand and is not hooked up on boat.

    have a 25" shaft and want have a 25" shaft and want to convert to 20" shaft. is it as easy as getting a 20" shaft lower unit or is there more? How hard would it be to convert the 25" lower unit to a 20"? any help is appreciated
