    I have a 96 Force 9.9 hp I got on a boat I bought. I can start it and it will run for 5-10 minutes then die and won’t start back till motor is cooled off completely. What causes this to happen ?

    I have a 25 hp Johnson I just purchased recently. I ran it in the test barrel earlier today and it ran great after a few adjustments with the hood off. When hood is installed it will run good for a short time when it starts then won't idle up anymore than start speed with the throttle wide open...

    '96 Force 9.9 hp

    I have a '96 9.9hp Force. It starts fine with one or two pulls. After running for a few minutes it will die and won't start back until it is cooled off. It pumps water fine so I don't think it is overheating. It runs great till it suddenly dies. Just here to get some help as to what the issue is...

    I have a '67 3 horse folding outboard I recently put a water impeller in. Question is how much water should be coming out of the water outlet. I'm getting a little water not sure if it should be more or it is ok the way it is. Thanks

    1963 Johnson impeller replacement

    I have 1963 johnson 18hp in need of a new impeller. Question is do I have to pull the power head to replace. I'm use to doing it on the '50s motors just making sure I don't need to on this one. It appears to be able come out by dropping lower unit. Any help appreciated. Thanks

    1996 9.9 force

    Recently picked up a 1996 force 9.9 hp. I can hook fuel line from tank prime the bulb and disconnect fuel line and pull it a few times it will fire up and run for 10-15 seconds. If I try to hook line up while it's running it immediately dies. The motor won't even start at all with it hooked up...

    55 evinrude help

    I recently bought a 1955 big twin 25. Model 25018. The fuel line weren't on it. It is not the model with the fuel pump. I would like to know if anyone can tell or show me the correct way to run the fuel lines. I will be using a pressure tank. Thanks
