The easiest way to tell the models apart is by the side decals on the upper leg.
HA is about 71/2" x 11/2" and the HB is 71/2" x 21/2".
The HA has a removable decal on the LHS and under it is 2...
Pretty sure that Chrysler used these on all their engines.
Worked as a replacement on my MN6/33.

They should be a Mitsubishi 6DS7 engines.
They came in N/A and and turbo versions.
The factory turbos were 200HP.
They could also be after market upgrades of the N/A motor.
Take the top cover off and see what is causing the problem.
Might only be a seized cable.
Get an itemised list of what was done during the overhaul.
Then you can make a informed decision on the condition of the engine.
Personally I wouldn't touch it.
It should not need a lift pump as the feed pump on the side of the IP can deliver more than max engine power requires. That's why there is a return line to the tank.
Disconnect the return line with...
Hi Allan,
LH props would be pretty rare in Australia.
Seems odd that the input shafts are different.
What powerplant are you running and in what hull?

Right hand.
About six years ago I got a quote of $25,000 AUD, landed in Australia.
I would be looking for around $15,000 for it.
Not sure what you mean. There should not be any water in a hydraulic pump.
Can you take some pictures.
I think you might be a bit confused on how the turbo bearing is lubricated and cooled.
They either it is oil lubricated and oil cooled or oil lubricated and water cooled.
The water does not come in...
I have turboed and intercooled my SD33. Egts are dependent on how much fuel you add.
If you have your boost set so you burn all the fuel before reaching max boost, the excess charge will bring your...
Is it a 4 or 6 cylinder engine?
Make sure the pulleys aren't worn.
A new belt of the correct section should sit about 1/16" proud with the rim of the pulleys.
If it sits deeper the pulleys need replacing.
Are you sure it is a P40 engine and not a SD33.
The P40 is a petrol engine used in the Patrol and as far as I know it was never used by Chrysler Marine.
It is not a manual. It is a sales brochure.
The M6-33 is based on the SD33. It was also known as a CN6-33.
As per the brochure the rated power is 105HP @ 4000rpm.
With the right prop, WOT should...
Same basic motor as a MQ Nissan Patrol. Manuals are available online.
You will have to wait a long time for it to die, if it is in good condition.
I have over 1,000 hours on mine and it is still going strong.
What part of the world are you in?
You should have no...
